Glass Pendants
Pressed Fairy
This is an offshoot to my Space series pendants. Its colors come from silver chunks that are melted into the glass, as well as colored glass rods (for the backing and bale).
The patterns and colors in these are very difficult to control, and many aspects are out of my control. I only put the best examples of this style on the website. As with all in this series, there is more depth than can be captured by a picture.
The vibrant explosion of colors in this pendant are set off dramatically by the dark field over which it flies. This piece always catches my eye, and it reminds me of my wife's book of pressed faries. .. a very funny (to me, not the fairies I'm sure) book.
