Glass Pendants
Space Series Pendant 8
One from my Space series pendants. Their colors come from silver, gold, and copper chunks that are melted into the glass, as well as colored glass rods (for the backing and bale).
The patterns and colors in these are very difficult to control, and many aspects are out of my control. I only put the best examples of this style on the website. As with all in this series, there is more depth than can be captured by a picture.
This pendant has the 4 large chunks of silicon encased in the piece, and unlike most silicon encasements, these appear almost completely golden.
The copper streaks have beautiful form, as well as a great range of bright coppery orange and yellow. Taking a magnifier or jeweler's loop to look more closely at some parts really brings a new level of appreciation to how beautiful parts of this pendant are.
